Intern Responsibilities:
The Content and Digital Intern’s primary areas of focus will be widening audience engagement through social media and design initiatives and collaborating on a range of public-facing digital and physical materials promoting exhibitions, performance, and other programming at the ICA.
The Intern will receive a crash course in social media management and content creation for the museum and will come away with a portfolio of materials in a range of formats, plus experience working collaboratively and within established content and design guidelines.
This position will be 28 hours a week, 4 days a week.
Intern Details:
Must have exceptional communication skills, social media fluency, and creative thinking.
Video and basic photo editing experience required.
Design experience including InDesign/Illustrator required.
Availability to attend summer events outside of typical work hours to create content as needed.
Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Background in studio art or art history a plus!
Interns will work onsite 28 hours per week and attend a mandatory offsite program day one day per week with their cohort.
Interns must be available for the duration of the program.

Workdays: 4 days per week onsite
PROGRAM DAY:
On the 5th day of each week, interns will attend an offsite program day with their cohort.
These hours are separate from the internship hours.
