Foluké Cultural Arts is seeking a qualified intern to work within our management team to assist with elevating the organization’s online presence, promote community engagement/outreach, and market our upcoming gala. The internship spans a range of responsibilities including the development of content related to a non-profit multi-disciplinary non-profit community arts organization as it relates to social media posts and website entries, in addition to content for the upcoming gala. 

Project Focus:

  • Maintain website and social media and increase engagement by tabling and taking photos.

  • Attend Meetings

  • Maintain website

  • Promote Summer Intensive

  • Collaborate with Development Intern to better understand donors and parents

Qualification:

  • Marketing and Interpersonal skills

  • Creativity(Able to think outside the box)

  • Adaptability to work within a small organization.

  • Phenomenal Writing Skills are a PLUS!

Hours Per Week: MWF 10-4

Interns will work onsite 28 hours per week and attend a mandatory offsite program day one day per week with their cohort.

Interns must be available for the duration of the program.

INTERNSHIP DURATION:

  • Total Weeks: 9 weeks

  • Work Hours per Week: 28 

  • Total Hours: 252

  • Workdays: 4 days per week onsite

PROGRAM DAY:

  • On the 5th day of each week, interns will attend an offsite program day with their cohort.

  • These hours are separate from the internship hours.


Before applying, verify you...

  1. Will be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student. You must be a rising Junior or Senior as of June 2023.

  2. Attend a Cleveland college or university—or attend college elsewhere and are a permanent resident of Cleveland or the inner ring suburbs.
