MEMPHIS BROOKS MUSEUM OF ART
Please see instructions on how to apply at the bottom of this page.
The Brooks Museum has been mounting exhibitions since 1916. Later exhibitions are better documented than earlier exhibitions for which key data (such as presence of a catalogue or tour venues, or images) is missing on our comprehensive list but currently findable in disparate sources within the museum. Intern will research and collate key data for earlier exhibitions, research and recommend different vendors for scanning archival slides as well as photos. The finished product will be a comprehensive set information available on the museum’s server.
The project will give the intern a deep and broad understanding of the museum exhibition process.
Intern Responsibilities:
Interns will also be available for orientation with Collections & Exhibitions as well as other departments.
